Yes, another tournament and another individual participation. Jaakko had to look for a partner as Erik was on a "summer break" in Thailand. Jaakko found Jussi Tommola and both went on to plow through the first rounds of the tournament.
They were able to win the first three matches but not without facing some stiff competition: Paija/Thauvon forced J&J into a third set, as did the Russian guests Noland/Tarakanov. But only in the semi-final the opposition was too strong: Tero Leikas and Marko Ovaska stopped Jaakko and Jussi. Still, it took three sets before elimination and ending up in third place.
